Due to time elapsed since April 2018 adoption, the Hayward Downtown and BART Station Area Parking Management Plan will accommodate stakeholder outreach and minor adjustments prior to implementation of the proposed plan. Work this past quarter has included review and summaries of intended implementation, and outreach is set to begin in the coming months with downtown stakeholders.

Staff are conducting discussions with developers for the Quarry site – Overlook Ave (Rt 238 Parcel Group 6), with maintenance planning underway to ensure compliance with the Disposition and Development Agreement. This project supports redevelopment of the Quarry site, aligning with city growth and economic development goals.

Staff are conducting discussions with developers for the Foothill and Grove Way parcels (Rt 238 Parcel Group 8), with ongoing maintenance planning to ensure compliance with the Disposition and Development Agreement. This project supports local economic growth and infrastructure improvements.

Staff are conducting discussions with developers for the Apple and Oak parcels (Rt 238 Parcel Group 9), with ongoing maintenance planning to ensure compliance with the Disposition and Development Agreement. This project supports strategic development of a key site, enhancing economic growth and infrastructure near major transportation routes.

Contractor has completed work and has been paid. Project can be closed out
