Community Engagement - Conducted two outreach events to general public and families of Faith Ringgold Elementary School for input on concept design. Applied for and received grant from Alameda County Transportation Commission for additional funding for design and construction. RFP for PS&E is in review.

In order to minimize the impact on General Fund, staff received City Council approval to remove the entire General Fund contribution of $264,000 for the required matching portion of the project and replace with an appropriation from Fund 213, Measure BB (Pedestrian& Bicycle).
