The City has coordinated across departments to begin a pilot parking enforcement program in the Downtown area, with plans to implement a temporary residential parking permit program in late summer. Enforcement steps in Q3/Q4 included allocating vehicles, technology, and staff to enforcement, and messaging the public about the process. Adaptive changes also included creation of long-term parking in key municipal lots, which created additional off-street parking opportunities for employees at business that do not have adequate off-street facilities of their own.

This project is funded by Fund 405 - Capital Projects (Governmental), in the amount of $188,000, which does include transfers from the General Fund and Measure C.
