The second steering committee meeting with community stakeholders was conducted to review outreach conducted thus far and to prepare for the final outreach push for late summer. The background and existing conditions chapters of the plan have been drafted and development is on track for a final draft in December 2026.

Mission Blvd on-street parking pilot program has been installed, helping the City to study the feasibility of a road diet on Mission Blvd. City staff have performed post-project data analysis and outreach and considers the pilot project to be successful. Modifications to the pilot project to address minor issues may still occur in the next six months. The Downtown Specific Plan Implementation project also supports traffic modeling and analysis work for the downtown area.
